The government has thrown its money on petrol and diesel. If everyone agrees, then they are ready to bring it under GST. But the blame is on the states to agree to this in the council.
But as the Centre said that if the states implement OPS (Old Pension Scheme), then the Center will not give money to the states of NPS (National Pension Scheme). Just as the Centre is clearing its stand and taking a decision, why is it not taking GST on petrol and diesel prices?
You and I are milch cows.
We know and so are milch cows. The state enjoys this milch cow as a calf and the centre as the owner. We are expected to stand like straight cows and if we do stronger, we will be done directly with the whip of “tax and law”.
This means that feed throughout the day and keep feeding the milk owner and calf. The maximum you can do is do a daily workout of feeding your stomach. Whether it is sunlight or water, keep working hard because in the evening you have to give milk again.
Only politics is going on on petrol diesel.
If we talk about the last several times, there have been proposals to bring air turbine fuel and gas, including petrol and diesel, under GST and now a new chapter has been added to it.
The Centre has said that we are ready to bring petroleum products under GST, but for this, the state government should be ready.
Well, the state government earns from the sale of petrol and diesel and fills its treasury directly. The Centre also directly fills its treasury with the earnings sold on petrol and diesel by imposing many types of taxes, but now the Center has made its stand clear about the Old Pension Scheme that it will not give its money to the states for this.
Similarly, if only the Centre wants petroleum products to be brought under GST, then by reducing the additional tax burden, it can give its share to the state governments and make it one of the big decisions taken back to the public.
Just stunting and nothing else.
The problem is that the Centre has to get rid of its pursuit and do politics on rising inflation, so for that the normal ball has been thrown that the Center is ready to bring gst and the states need to sign it,
whereas such a situation has been going on for the last several years with the introduction of GST, there is no solution on this because the center is one in the country. But there are many states.
